Nursery Classroom

In our Nursery Classroom we provide a unique experience for your children in the academic year before they start school in September. Your child will incorporate learning in every activity that they lead, enhancing a variety of social and educational needs inspiring your child to be the best they can possibly be.

Integrating the ginger bear programme into our daily curriculum it focus’ on your child’s vocabulary and communication  skills and social interaction skills allowing your child to have the available skills to start school. Your child will gain a wealth of experience when continuing our jolly phonics programme, which incorporates songs and actions into learning how to write and sound letters in a fun, learning environment.

In our nursery classroom we promote your child’s independence in our open plan room allowing your child to freely explore a wide range of activities which follow our monthly themes and topics. Maths is a big area of learning that your child will explore, this is an essential skill your child will need for when they attend school, it is learnt through active playing and grouped activities, covering counting, recognising numbers, shapes, measurements and simple addition and subtraction.
